Reunited
Some people said it would never happen. And since it hasn't happened yet, I can't go into any details because I don't want to jinx it. But let's just say if Jimmy Carter, Menachem Begin and Anwar Sadat had email, they probably would've started their peace process much like me and some friends did today.
I can't claim all the credit, as other people from OU circa '86/'87 were involved. As was the death of a Q-FM-96 (Ohio's best rock) DJ that put life into perspective for one of the parties. But I will take credit for keeping the emails flying fast & furiously to negotiate the stated desires and delicate temperments of all the parties involved. And with a little luck, one of the world's greatest unknown rock bands - The Bastion of Silliyness - and it's various satellites from the "evil" Name Band and a nationally "known" comedian - will all be in the same room for the first time since a certain Central Ohio television "personality" got married.
If it all pans out, I'll write about it in early December. Until then, start singing "reunited and it feels so good..."
