Bio: A groove can become a rut; this is a philosophy I have always lived by. I like variety, a fact that may stem from the variety of blood flowing through my veins. I’m half Indian, a quarter Irish and a quarter German. You add it all up and somehow you get a sports-addicted, travel-loving, experience-seeking bard.

I was born and raised in Kansas which partially explains my need for exploration. Upon disembarking from the heartland, I have groomed thoroughbreds in Lexington, KY, bartended on Bourbon Street, hawked T-shirts in Key West, and worked at an advertising agency on Madison Avenue.

I listen to music from Abba to Weather Report, from Conway Twitty to N.W.A. I like microbrews but my favorite drink is scotch and water. I read publications ranging from Vibe to Forbes to People (at the dentist office or course).

A few of the things I take pride in are I’m old school in sports – Sports Illustrated vs. ESPN The Magazine, the ‘86 Celtics versus the current Lakers dynasty, ‘77 Broncos uniforms versus ‘02 Broncos uniforms. I hate Hollywood blockbusters and the current fad of reality television programming. I hate it when people say, "You know what I’m saying," and I wish Celine Dion would retire for good. I would rather have a cheeseburger and fries than a filet mignon and a waiter with an attitude. And I like hanging out with people who talk about ideas and events, rather than about other people.

Currently, I reside in Seattle where I am an advertising account executive by day and a writer by night. I’m happily married and looking forward to starting a family within the next couple of years.
